Here’s how it works. When a RecordJacket.com™ customer needs to send you a patient record, they use our Web-based release processing system to create a digital copy of the records to be released and upload it to RecordJacket.com™. As the receiving provider, you will receive an email from RecordJacket.com™ indicating that you have records to retrieve and download. You simply click on the embedded link in the email and it takes you to a secure login page where you enter the password you created during the registration process.

Once you have completed your login into our secure system, you will be directed to the specific patient records (and only those records) that have been sent to you. You can view the records and print them or download them to your computer via a secure link and download process that meets all HIPAA electronic standards. All records sent electronically using RecordJacket.com™ are either TIFF images or PDF files which can be viewed on your computer using any standard image viewing or PDF program. Once downloaded, you can print copies to be placed in your patient files or store the records electronically in your own EMR system. Fast, simple and cost effective for everyone!

RecordJacket.com™ service plan customers do not have to register again to receive electronic records from other providers—it’s part of your subscription.
